This month has been a busy one for me and has gone by so fast, however, I still have somehow managed to make time to go to London, get a massage, try out new products and taste an array of new fabulous teas.
Welcome to my September favourites.
SMASHBOX, PHOTO FINISH FOUNDATION PRIMER, OIL FREE.
I love this stuff, my mum introduced me to this product after she had bought it on her holidays and absolutely raved about it. So, naturally I had to try it for myself.
The texture is very silicone-y but once it has sunk into the skin you can not feel a thing, and my make-up sits lovely and smooth on top. My foundation lasts so much longer when I use this primer with no cakiness or sliding. Brilliant stuff that I would highly recommend trying, if you haven't already.
STILA, STAY ALL DAY, WATERPROOF LIQUID EYELINER.
This product has literally changed my life.
Now, I am fully aware that this is a bold statement to make, but people who have oily eyelids like me, know how hard it is to make liquid eyeliner stay put.
This stuff just glides on so easily, making it simple to apply and amazingly, it stays put all day.
I have loved being able to pull off the cat eye look this month and I'm sure I will be using it all through the Autumnal and festive seasons.
FIRST AID BEAUTY, SKIN RESCUE PURIFYING MASK WITH RED CLAY.
This is a great mask that does exactly what it says on the tube, draws out toxins and purifies the skin leaving it smooth and clear.
I have even been able to forgive the fact that is a peel off mask, which before trying this I hated.
BALM BALM, 100% ORGANIC ROSEHIP SERUM.
I honestly didn't think I would like this product, but oils are being used for everything these days and so I thought I would jump aboard the band wagon and give a skin oil a go. I am so glad I did as this makes my skin feel so soft and nourished. I only use it at night but when I wake up my sin looks refreshed and glowing. I am definitely an oil convert.
Last but not least, September was the month I ventured out from my Yorkshire tea drinking hole and tried some deliciously sweet, dessert teas. My friend at work gave me a Twinings Salted Caramel tea to try and it tasted so incredible, I went out and bought a few other flavours.
They are a bit too sweet for my morning cup of tea, so for this I am sticking to my good old Yorkshire tea, but for an afternoon sweet treat these are perfect.
