I am a really nosey person and love to read and see what people eat throughout their day, so naturally I thought I would share with you what I ate today.
Since I am on school holidays at the moment I have more time to think and prepare meals for the day ahead. I did the dreaded ‘big shop’ yesterday, so stocked my fridge and cupboards with yummy food. I try to do most of the prep as soon as I get home, especially of the fruit and veg, otherwise I tend to forget or get lazy and not eat any of it, which I hate as it’s such a waste of food.

Any who, this morning I woke up extra early as my husband was starting his first day at his new job, and I wanted to wave him off like a good wifey. I made him his usual cup of joe, as he likes to call it and I had the much needed brew (English Breakfast tea). I’m not the most healthiest of eaters, as you will find out a bit later on in the day, but for now I start off reasonably good with a bowl of fresh Strawberries and organic vanilla yogurt. I do struggle to find healthy breakfasts that are quick easy and yummy to have, so normally stick to fruit and yogurt, but every now again I treat myself to a Pan au chocolate, because lets just face it, they are amazing.

After breakfast and took my baby boy, Oscar, my King Charles Cavalier for a walk. How cute is he really though?

Mid-morning I started to get a bit peckish, so had a glass of water and a Banana, which is very normal for me. It seems no matter what I eat for my breakfast I can never last through until lunch without a little something about 11. I’m sure i am not alone in this!?

After pottering around the house, trying to do some organising and washing, I finally stop for my lunch around 1pm. I do normally tend to have salad, but today the weather was a bit gloomy so instead opted for a tin of Weight Watchers soup. I don’t really buy the Weight Watchers brand because I think it will help me lose weight, I just find the tin to be a perfect amount for me.
I LOVE grapes, so I have a handful of these for dessert and another glass of water.

Uh-oh, this is where the ,definitely not, healthy food comes in, but I am 100% a believer of ‘a little bit of what you fancy does you good’. So, a nice cup of tea and few (ok maybe more than a few) mouthfuls of Ben and Jerrys, is enjoyed mid-afternoon.

Time for dinner. Merchant Gourmet mixed grains, steamed Broccoli and Birds Eyes Chargrilled fish, and half a lemon drizzled on top. Delicious, even if I do say so myself. This was super easy to make, and tasted amazing. Slightly reprieved myself after the Ice-cream splurge earlier.

And then nice cup of tea before bed and thats me done for the day.

Hope you found this as interesting as I do reading other peoples, until next time..

Victoria x
