This is my new wonder product, I do not know how I managed without it. I was first introduced to Clarins Instant Concealer by the wonderful Catherine Williams, who is a brilliant and lovely make-up artist from North Wales. Catherine did my bridal make-up for me back in May and I was so pleased with the results and with this product, I rushed straight out and bought it.
As soon as she had applied this concealer to my under eye area, everything just seemed to blur together, all the discolouration had disappeared, the giant bags I had, vanished. It made me look like a had had a blissful nights sleep, which any bride can tell you never happens the night before the big day.
When I purchased the concealer myself I was a tad worried, I love make-up and beauty but I know I am not a make-up artist or beautician, so, didn’t know if i would be able to use the product and get the same results I had on my wedding day. Honestly though, this product is so easy to work with, it glides on beautifully and blends in well with either your finger or a damp beauty blender. I then follow up with a light dusting of Mac Studio Fix powder to help it stay in place and viola, my eyes look radiant.
I have a very busy and hands-on job, so make-up doesn’t tend to last very long for me, either it rubs off or my face just drinks it in. I was very pleasantly surprised upon arriving home after my first day back at work wearing this concealer, to find that with only slight fading, it was still in place.
I bought it in the colour 01, which is the lighter of the 3 shades available. I would say this shade is more on the pinky side and not yellow, which works best on my skin. It has a medium to full coverage and is incredibly long lasting. Clarins Instant Concealer, is most definitely a new staple in the make-up bag, I blooming LOVE it.
